Agreement

By accessing or using Your New Kit, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Your New Kit is intended for parents and guardians using school invite codes or approved school membership — not for general public browsing.

The service

Your New Kit provides private, school-based marketplaces where parents can list, find, and arrange handover of used school uniform. Each marketplace is scoped to a school community. We do not process online payments or delivery in the current version of the service — any payment or collection is arranged directly between parents.

Your account

• You must sign in with Google and provide accurate profile information.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian if older local rules apply.
• You must not share login credentials or impersonate another person.

Acceptable use

When using Your New Kit, you agree not to:

• list items that are not genuine school uniform or related kit;
• post misleading descriptions, photos, or prices;
• harass, abuse, or threaten other users;
• share another person's private contact details publicly;
• submit children's personal information;
• attempt to access another school's marketplace without membership;
• scrape, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service;
• use the service for unlawful purposes.

Listings and transactions

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for completing handovers in good faith. Buyers and sellers communicate and arrange collection privately through the service. Your New Kit is a facilitator — we are not a party to any sale and do not guarantee the condition, fit, or availability of items.

Content and moderation

You retain ownership of content you upload, but grant us a licence to host, display, and process it as needed to operate the service. We may remove listings or suspend accounts that breach these terms or receive valid reports. School administrators and platform administrators may moderate activity within their scope.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Your New Kit and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, including disputes between parents, item condition, or arrangements made outside the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Privacy

Our use of personal information is described in our Privacy policy.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
